Jammu and Kashmir will speed up vaccination for people aged 18 to 45

The Government of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) has announced a special vaccination campaign for advocates between the ages of 18 and 45 in eight districts across the Union Territory of J&K.

The Department of Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs took the action as an urgent move to ensure that lawyers, who are at a higher risk of contracting infection due to their profession, are vaccinated, according to a statement released here by the Department.

Different camps are being formed in districts to provide vaccinations to advocates, according to the study.

The very first procedure will be arranged on May 25 for advocates serving in the Jammu and Kashmir High Court’s Srinagar wing and Jammu wing, and also advocates practicing in the Jammu and Srinagar districts, and will be organized at the appropriate court premises.

On May 27 and 28, advocates practising in the district courts of Baramulla, Anantnag, Budgam, Udhampur, Kathua, and Rajouri will participate in the second phase. It will take place at the district court complexes.
