PM Modi makes an eye-opening statement at the BRICS summit

On 17 November a lot of ground-breaking statements were made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the BRICS summit, he stated that “terrorism is the biggest problem the world is facing today”. He expressed the fact that nations supporting terrorists should also be held accountable for such wrongdoings.
The summit was held virtually due to the ongoing pandemic and was held between five nations Brazil-Russia-India-China and South Africa. The 12th edition of the BRICS summit was hosted by Russia under the theme of Global stability, shared security and innovative growth.
In the coming year, the BRICS Summit will complete fifteen years. PM Narendra Modi also mentioned about the Atmanirbhar Bharat campaign that is the notion of a self-dependent nation. He stated that a comprehensive reform process has been started under the Aatmanirbhar Bharat Campaign which is a mighty step towards making the nation self-reliant.
In the post-Covid era, a resilient and independent India would not only benefit the economy and the people but it would also contribute to the Global value chain. He stated that India has a set a good example and has always propounded the notion of brotherhood with other nations. PM Narendra Modi also stated that Our vaccine product and delivery capacity will also work in the interest of humanity. The BRICS Summit was held taking into account the 75 anniversary of the UN(United Nations).
